Proofreading
Proofreading is the correction of texts based on the currently applicable new orthography and grammar (status 2009). The accuracy of the unctuation and syllabication are also checked. All changes to the literary language and/or retractions or amendments by the Council of German Orthography, which are then included in dictionaries, will be immediately implemented in our proofreading.
Editing
Editing contains all the checks and corrections, which are also implemented in proofreading. In addition to the corrections, however, the contextual aspects of a text are also checked for accuracy and plausibility, such as, for example, formulations (contextual congruence), logical structuring (inter-textual congruence) and contextual coherence (text-immanent congruence).
